We are an online custom boutique, producing unique and luxurious, urban, modern hemp and premium leather accessories and apparel for today’s stylish, environmentally conscious traveler. Why 420 LTHRWRX?
For those unaware, number 420 is
synonymous with cannabis (marijuana).
However, while cannabis use is not a
requirement to enjoy our luxury products,
understanding a few earth friendly benefits
this plant has to offer can help. Hemp and
cannabis both are derived from the same
species of plant; however, both grow and
have different functional properties.
Marijuana cannabis is psychoactive due to
high amounts of THC present, while Hemp is grown for industrial use ( food, clothing, etc… ) with very low amounts of THC. Here at 420 LTHRWRX we focus on Hemp to produce our quality products but have retained the world recognized numerical identifier for obvious reasons.
Contrary to some belief, the second part of our name (Leather) is actually sustainable. When properly cared for, premium, vegetable tanned leather will last for years. Yes, we all know tanning leather hides, specifically chrome tanned leather, can have devastating effects on our environment. Vegetable tanned leather, in comparison, uses a more environmentally sustainable process due to harsh chemicals not being used to dye the hide. Its for the aforementioned reason 420 LTHRWRX uses responsibly sourced vegetable tanned leather for our product lines.
Our use of Hemp and Leather hides sewn in tandem, combine to form high quality products that are equally durable, Eco-friendly and sustainable.
