Our Story

420 LTHRWRX was founded in 2020 by designer and military-trained tailor Michael Madison, who spent more than two decades in fashion witnessing firsthand the waste and disposable culture of Fast Fashion. Determined to create a better alternative, he built a brand rooted in hemp and vegetable-tanned leather—two of the most durable and responsible materials on earth. As a result, every product currently designed reflects his commitment to slow, intentional creation. Each piece is built not only to complement your journey, but to withstand it.
What began as a response to industry excess evolved into a lifestyle brand for the modern, eco-conscious traveler: individuals who want their style to look good, feel good, and do good.
